Hardwood Lazy Susan Turntable

The perfect combination of Function & Beauty!  This Lazy Susan can be purchased as shown or personalized as depicted in the photos.

■  Features:  Beautiful arrangement of exotic hardwoods, 3D / CNC Carved Design with Translucent Epoxy Fill (very cool!), High quality steel ball bearing that is recessed into the boards creating a low profile, Rubber Non-slip Feet.

■  Materials:  19 pieces of Cherry, Sapele, and Maple hardwoods glued together.  The base is solid Cherry.  The top and bottom are joined with a high quality steel ball-bearing.

■  Size:  15-inch diameter x 2-inch High

■  Artwork / Design:  Three design are available (see photos).  The art is 3D milled with a CNC router and then filled with a clear epoxy resin that, once cured, is more durable than the wood itself.  

■  Personalization:  Personalization is available on this turntable.  See options and photos above.

■  Process:  Our process begins with the jointer, planer, and table saw to ensure all of the hardwood boards are flat and straight.  After that, the boards are milled into various widths and glued back together to create the design you see (see attached photo of glue-up).  Once the glue dries, the turntable is then planed and flattened once again.  Next, the top of the lazy susan is moved to the CNC router to mill a perfect circle and to mill this amazing and complex design into the top.  After the edges are milled with a decorative pattern, the milled wreath pattern on the top is filled with a clear epoxy resin which is translucent so you can see the milled wood beneath.  After the excess epoxy resin is machined away, the top of the lazy susan is sanded until it is silky smooth and then finished with multiple coats of a beautiful and durable oil & wax product.
